The purpose of this course is to enable all participants take charge of a situation when a person is injured or becomes ill – until more appropriate assistance arrives.

  • First Aid Kits
  • Prioritising Casualties
  • Primary/Secondary Assessment
  • Resuscitation
  • Recovery Position
  • Basic Life Support
  • Choking
  • Shock
  • Bleeding

It’s a 1 day course and candidates wishing to attend should be aware that the course has a practical element to it where they will be demonstrating the recovery position and CPR techniques.
